Self-hostedCharge your Lucid from surplus solar
CHAOS reads solar production, home use and battery charge from a Tesla Powerwall on your local network. It uses the private Lucid app API to start and stop charging, adjust the current and set a charge target.
You need a Powerwall, a computer running Python or Docker, and a Lucid account. The author uses a Gravity; the code selects the account's first car and uses the US API endpoint. Lucid's cloud remains necessary, and stopping CHAOS does not automatically restore earlier charging settings.
