Run Roborock’s backend on your own network
Roborock Local Server receives the robot’s HTTPS and MQTT traffic on a server in your home, preserving local controls and live maps without rooting it. Home Assistant, a home automation hub, and LocalRock, an open-source phone app, can use this replacement backend.
You need a server, local DNS rules and a domain with a certificate the particular firmware trusts. Existing setups can import their Roborock account once, while the new-vacuum flow can onboard without prior cloud registration; vendor firmware updates and cloud schedules are unavailable.
