Control lights and match screen colors on Windows
LIFX Control Panel controls lights directly over the local network from a desktop window, tray menu or keyboard shortcut. It can sample screen colors and save and restore light state.
Windows has a downloadable executable; the README says Linux needs additional GUI libraries. The current release disables individual Beam and Z zone editing, and the author directs future development to Mantle. Development has moved to Mantle; this older MIT-licensed application remains available.
