Self-hostedSkip sponsor segments and mute YouTube ads
iSponsorBlockTV watches playback state from the official YouTube TV app through YouTube's unofficial TV-control interface. It skips SponsorBlock segments, mutes advertisements and presses Skip when YouTube makes that control available; it does not remove ads or shorten unskippable ads.
Keep it running on a computer, server or Docker host and pair each TV using Link with TV code. Nothing is installed on the TV, and YouTube Premium is not required.
The README currently warns that YouTube may invalidate saved TV codes, requiring pairing again. Shorts are only partly supported, and compatibility depends on the current YouTube TV app rather than a guaranteed list of television firmware versions.
