iPhone Spatial Audio
AppUse spare jailbroken iPhones as surround speakers
This project sends separate surround channels from a computer to jailbroken iPhones using a modified Snapcast client. A microphone calibration tool aligns playback timing and levels.
Each phone needs a compatible rootless jailbreak and SSH; the Mac setup also builds an audio device. It is an experimental 5.0.2 arrangement with roughly one second of delay, little bass and Korean setup messages, unsuitable for games or live monitoring.
