Plug-inLog EV charging readings in Home Assistant
HondaLink Bridge sends Prologue and ZDX readings to your MQTT message broker and Home Assistant, a home automation server. It uses Honda’s private app service for battery percentage, charging status and supported controls, and estimates cumulative battery energy from changes in charge percentage.
Install the add-on in Home Assistant OS and connect a working MQTT broker and car account. The energy figure depends on the battery capacity you enter and excludes charging losses; a 2023 Accord Hybrid owner has partial odometer, tire and lock support, with fuel and oil readings still missing.
