Plug-inInk levels and printer status in Home Assistant
The IPP integration is built into Home Assistant, the open-source home automation app, and polls a network printer over the Internet Printing Protocol. It shows printer state, remaining ink or toner levels and page counters as sensors, found automatically over mDNS.
It reads the printer directly on your network, with no HP account or cloud. It needs a printer that reports IPP markers; Home Assistant adds a diagnostic sensor only when the printer reports that counter.
