Home Assistant for Android Automotive
AppHome controls and car readings on your own server
Home Assistant, a server you run for home automation, puts controls for lights, garage doors, scenes and other devices on the car’s own screen. It can also send the vehicle readings Android exposes, such as battery percentage, remaining range and charging-port state, to your Home Assistant server.
Install the automotive app from the car’s Play Store and sign in to a reachable Home Assistant server. The Play version uses Google’s car templates, and available vehicle sensors vary by manufacturer; AAOS odometer readings are disabled in the current code.
