Helio Smart Wake bridge
Plug-inRead Helio sleep and set alarms from Home Assistant
This component uses ESPHome, a platform for configuring connected devices, to connect an ESP32 board directly to a Helio Strap over Bluetooth. It exposes battery and sleep readings to Home Assistant, a home-automation server, and sends explicit alarm changes with a readback check.
The documented hardware is a Waveshare ESP32-S3-GEEK, with ESPHome 2026.8.0 and the strap's authentication key. The repository provides the bridge but keeps automatic wake-time decisions in a separately maintained Home Assistant integration and automations; it has no autonomous smart-wake scheduler. The public source has no declared license.
