Dyson for Home Assistant
Plug-inControl Dyson locally and use its sensors in automations
This integration brings fan controls and the readings available on your Dyson into Home Assistant, a home automation hub. It can connect directly to the purifier’s MQTT server on your network, with optional Dyson cloud connections and fallback modes.
Install it through HACS, the community integration installer, then use cloud discovery or enter the device credentials manually. Select Local Only for everyday control without Dyson’s cloud; newer machines usually need a MyDyson login to obtain their credentials first.
Available entities depend on the machine’s reported capabilities and sensor fields. Heating is implemented but still described as experimental in the compatibility guide, and the published 0.38 release has model-specific control issues recorded in the project’s tracker.
