Plug-inUse camera detections and doorbells in home automations
Home Assistant, a home automation server, reads live feeds, detections and device status from your UniFi Protect console. Supported doorbells and cameras can trigger lights, announcements and other automations.
You need a supported UniFi OS console running Protect 7.2.105 or later. A local user plus an API key exposes more features than API-key-only setup; older cameras have fewer detections, and early-access Protect releases are unsupported.
