Plug-inUse energy totals and detected devices in home automations
Home Assistant, a self-hosted home automation system, reads Sense account data for power use, solar production and historical energy totals. It also exposes the power state and usage of devices detected by the monitor.
The connection polls Sense’s cloud rather than the monitor directly. Active readings update about once a minute and longer-term totals less often, so this is not a replacement for instantaneous meter readings. It is intended for existing supported Sense monitor accounts.
