Plug-inUse watering zones and schedules in home automations
Home Assistant, a self-hosted home automation system, reads Rachio status and lets you operate zones, valves and schedules through Rachio’s cloud API. It also exposes calendar and binary-sensor information.
Setup needs your Rachio API key. Sprinkler controller updates require an internet-reachable Home Assistant webhook; hose timers use polling instead and can show delayed state. Set a maximum watering duration before automating a zone.
