Plug-inUse door and vehicle state in home automations
Home Assistant, a home automation server, polls a local OpenGarage controller for door, car-presence and distance readings. It provides open and close controls plus temperature and humidity readings when those optional sensors are installed.
You need an OpenGarage controller already wired and configured for your opener and a Home Assistant server. The checked stable release polls every five seconds and sends a button action for door commands; the controller determines the actual protocol and sensing method.
