Home Assistant Matter
Plug-inControl certified Matter devices on your local network
Connects Matter devices and compatible Matter bridges to Home Assistant, a home automation server, on your local network. Aqara’s certified devices include Hub M3, U200 and U300 locks, and P2 motion and contact sensors. Other brands can use the same integration when their exact devices support Matter.
You need the device’s Matter setup code and a compatible network; Matter-over-Thread devices also need a Thread border router. Only the features exposed through Matter are available, so maker-specific settings and some bridged functions may still need the original app.
