Plug-inUse ecobee schedules and sensors in Home Assistant
Home Assistant, a home automation server, reads your thermostat and paired room sensors from ecobee’s cloud. Its ecobee integration controls temperatures, HVAC and fan modes, comfort-setting holds and supported HVAC accessories.
Use your ecobee account login or an existing developer key. Account login supports SMS and authenticator-app verification, but not email codes or push approval; the thermostat must stay online, and readings are polled about every three minutes.
