Plug-inAutomate Blink controls and save recent recordings
Home Assistant's Blink integration adds camera snapshots, motion sensors, battery readings and arming controls to Home Assistant, a home automation server. Its blinkpy backend uses Blink's private cloud API and can save recent recordings, including compatible Sync Module local clips retrieved through Blink's servers.
A Blink account is required and motion is polled, with no live video from this integration. Fresh authentication can fail on stable Home Assistant 2026.10.4 because it uses a shared hardware identifier; the merged fix is in development source as of the research date.
