GW4 iOS Bridge
AppUse iPhone alerts and broadcast live heart rate
GW4 iOS Bridge receives iPhone notifications and broadcasts live heart rate over Bluetooth. An iPhone Shortcut transfers new readings over local HTTP to Apple Health.
The author tested only Watch4 SM-R870 on Wear OS 4. BIA scrapes private Samsung Health logs after an ADB grant; distance and calories are estimates. Interrupted exports can lose readings because HTTP acknowledges them before Apple Health stores them. Use the unauthenticated local transfer server only on trusted Wi-Fi.
- Keep the watch after switching to iPhone
- Keep a readable copy of your health history
- Keep health readings off Samsung's cloud
- Standard BLE heart-rate broadcasting
- Incoming-call actions
- Samsung Health body-composition log import
- Manual local workout records
