Plug-inPrint from Linux with an open printer driver
Gutenprint supplies CUPS printer drivers for many inkjet models, including an experimental driver for the PIXMA MG2550S. Add the driver to a Linux print queue to print without Canon’s desktop software.
MG2550S support is marked experimental and covers a limited selection of plain, glossy photo and envelope media. Test the paper type and print quality before an important job. This is a printing driver; scanning needs a separate backend.
