Self-hostedRun your own library that syncs to the Kobo
Grimmory keeps your books, comics and audiobooks on your own server and continues the BookLore project. The Kobo's normal Sync button downloads books from it in Kobo's KEPUB format and shares reading progress with its browser reader.
You run it with Docker and a database, then add a token to the Kobo's settings file over USB. Two-way progress needs KEPUB conversion turned on. Other e-readers connect through KOReader, an alternative reading app.
