Self-hostedBridge local and cloud lights into MQTT automations
Govee2MQTT Extended connects lights to MQTT, a messaging service used by home automation systems, and creates Home Assistant entities. It uses LAN where available, with Govee’s official cloud API and private cloud messaging for additional devices and features.
Run the Home Assistant add-on or a Linux Docker container with an MQTT broker. LAN-only operation can omit account credentials; scenes, effects and cloud-only lights may need an API key, account login and emailed verification code.
