Freestyle Launcher
AppOpen a simpler home screen on your projector
Freestyle Launcher puts a clock, weather and a dock of installed apps on the Samsung The Freestyle 2nd Gen. Its Tizen shell reads the installed app list locally and opens apps through Tizen's application API; the main interface normally loads from the author's GitHub Pages site.
You build and sideload a signed Tizen package, then configure the projector to reopen its last app. Some apps reject direct launching, certificates may need renewal, and the bundled offline interface has Tizen-specific limits. The public repository has no verified license grant, so its license is recorded as Unknown.
- Simplify the home screen
- Run apps outside the app store
- Start with the screen you choose
- Clock and weather on the idle screen
- A configurable dock of up to six apps
