Read battery data on a separate dashboard
evDash runs on a small M5Stack display and reads battery charge, cell voltages, temperatures and charging data through an OBD-II adapter. It can save logs to an SD card and send readings to MQTT, a messaging system used by home automation tools.
You need a supported M5Stack board and an adapter plugged into the car’s diagnostic port; the Bluetooth route needs no wiring changes or connected-services plan. Remote history uploads to the maintainer’s server are enabled by default, so turn off Contribute data to keep that history local.
