EV Smart Charging
Plug-inSchedule charging into cheaper electricity periods
EV Smart Charging plans charging in Home Assistant, a home automation server, using electricity prices, battery level and your departure deadline. It operates an existing charging switch and can choose the cheapest periods or keep charging in one continuous session.
Your charger or car must already have a working Home Assistant integration that exposes the needed entities. It schedules on and off periods; it does not itself vary charging current to avoid household demand peaks.
- Charge when electricity is cheapest
- Use charging in home automations
- Departure deadlines
- Price ceilings
- Continuous or split charging periods
- Manual battery-level helper
