Eufy Mega Security brings supported camera video, detection events and controls into Home Assistant, a home automation system. Its gateway uses the current private eufy app protocol, cloud push notifications and local P2P video paths.
Install the integration and gateway together, then match the camera, HomeBase and firmware against its detailed compatibility matrix. Some models expose only entities or retained images, and the matrix records blank video, incomplete events and unreliable playback on specific combinations.
