ESPHome Hisense AC
FirmwareControl a compatible Hisense AC through ESPHome
Replacement Wi-Fi module firmware connects a compatible Hisense indoor unit to ESPHome over its RS485 port. It exposes local climate controls without the original cloud module. The author tested an AEH-W41H1 connector with an M5StickC Plus2 and RS485 Hat; retail AC model coverage remains unspecified.
- Control it without the cloud
- Automate heating and cooling
- Replace an unsupported Wi-Fi module
- Local temperature, mode and fan control
- Expose supported climate controls to Home Assistant
