Self-hostedSend scans from the printer to a local folder
epson2paperless lets the ET-8500 send scans from its control panel to a folder on your own computer. It can also upload documents to your Paperless-ngx installation, so you can scan without opening Epson’s desktop software.
Run the service on a Linux host on the same local network. The project verifies the ET-8500’s flatbed workflow but has not confirmed color output on hardware. Paperless-ngx is optional; it is a separate service, and successful uploads delete the local copy by default unless you change that setting.
