Emporia–SolaX solar charging
Self-hostedSend spare SolaX solar power to Emporia chargers
This controller reads a SolaX inverter's local data and adjusts Emporia charging current through the Emporia cloud. It can preserve a home battery reserve, share surplus power between chargers and use a fixed night-charging window.
You need a compatible SolaX inverter, an Emporia account and a computer running the Python service with MQTT. Its policy needs configuring for the installation, and loss of Emporia cloud access prevents charger commands even while inverter readings remain local.
