Dusty Pads
FirmwareAdd gritty pad textures to the NTS-1 mkII
Dusty Pads blends synthesized string, analog, organ, choir and glass tones inside the NTS-1 mkII. Detuning, pitch drift and deliberate sample-rate reduction give its mono voice an older sampler character.
Load the NTS-1 mkII unit with KORG KONTROL Editor, using the recommended firmware 1.3. This is an early project with a working source route and release units; an independent physical-device test is not documented.
- Load your own samples and sound extensions
- Five synthesized pad timbres
- Sample-rate and bit reduction
- Key-tracked grit and hiss
