DskTest
AppCheck disk speed and head alignment
DskTest helps diagnose a CPC disk drive by measuring rotational speed, finding sectors and testing head alignment. It runs on the CPC and lets you select a drive and track while watching the results.
The current release is for CPC 6128; it does not run on CPC 464 or 664. Load it from disk or tape and use a known-good formatted disk for alignment checks. The alignment test keeps retrying until it succeeds, so begin with a low track and follow the project instructions.
