Docent
Self-hostedOrganize and send artwork to The Frame from a browser
Docent runs a local gallery where you can upload, crop and organize images before sending them to The Frame. Its baseline artwork controls use the TV's private local Art Mode connection, without a Samsung Art Store subscription.
Run the Python app or Docker service on your network and approve the TV's pairing request. Thumbnail retrieval has open compatibility reports, and optional AI identification, weather suggestions and Google Drive imports use external services.
- Show my own art on The Frame
- Artwork collections and crop editor
- Optional cloud artwork identification
