AppEdit DX7 sounds and audition them on your computer
Dexed is an FM synthesizer app and plug-in that also works as a companion editor for the Yamaha DX7. You can load DX7-format sound banks, audition patches on the computer and send sounds to the hardware over MIDI.
Use the standalone app or a supported audio plug-in host. The hardware workflow targets DX7-compatible patch data; it is not an editor for the different four-operator format used by a TX81Z.
