Dashtone
AppPlay music stored on the car itself
Dashtone plays audio already indexed in the car’s Android MediaStore, with local browsing, M3U playlists and no network permission. You need a separate supported way to copy or sync music onto the car. The project documents Google Play installation, but its public listing returned 404 during this review; its documented alternative is a source build through your own Play internal testing track. Vehicle compatibility and that installation route must be checked before setup.
- Play your own music and audiobooks
- MediaStore music and M3U playlists
- Album, category and song shuffle
- Playback without network permission
