Plug-inUse a Madoka thermostat over local Bluetooth
Daikin Madoka brings a European BRC1H wall controller into Home Assistant, a home automation hub, over Bluetooth. It exposes heating and cooling controls, temperatures, filter alerts and device-reported energy totals where the connected unit supplies them.
Use a nearby Bluetooth adapter or an ESP32 Bluetooth proxy. A proxy needs the documented pairing configuration and confirmation on the controller; stock proxy firmware cannot complete that pairing. North American BRC1H71 controllers do not expose runtime HVAC commands through this Bluetooth protocol.
