CHIRP
AppEdit and back up your radio channels on a computer
CHIRP reads a supported radio through a USB serial programming cable and edits its channel memories on a computer. It saves local backups and can move channel data through CSV files. Windows, macOS and Linux are supported, with operating-system and cable-driver requirements. Exact radio and firmware matching matters, and the Quansheng UV-K5 driver remains experimental with unknown firmware restricted to read-only access.
- Program channel lists on a computer
- Back up and transfer channel lists
- Edit channel names, tones and repeater offsets
- Save an original radio memory image
- Import and export CSV channel lists
- Copy memories between supported radio formats
