Plug-inUse European Chery cars in home automations
Chery Europe adds vehicle status, location, charging and supported comfort controls to Home Assistant, software for home automation. It uses the European Chery app's private cloud service. The author targets Tiggo 9 PHEV, and an owner confirms Tiggo 7 PHEV 2025 in Czechia.
Install it from HACS and sign in with the app's email or phone verification flow. It currently selects the first vehicle on the account, and the phone app can invalidate the same session. Sleeping cars may not answer commands or return fresh readings; the UK app FAQ says car control is free for life.
