Command lineRead live values and fault histories in a terminal
cargo shows live diagnostic values and trouble codes through an ELM327 adapter, either in a terminal dashboard or as a one-shot report. It can discover responding modules and display extra fault records when the car supplies them.
You need a computer and a USB or Bluetooth Classic adapter exposed as a serial port, plugged into the OBD-II port. Manufacturer fault-history decoding is limited, and clearing codes writes to the car and resets readiness information; the tool asks for confirmation and checks that the engine is off.
