BRLTTY
AppRead computer text on your braille display
BRLTTY connects supported braille displays to a computer. Its Freedom Scientific driver recognizes Focus and PAC Mate models, sends text to their braille cells and maps display keys to navigation commands.
Linux console access is the main use. Screen-reader and platform setup varies, and some desktop use needs a separate screen reader connected through BrlAPI. Match the display model and connection type before installing the driver.
