BikeTube
AppWatch YouTube with a live bike-metrics panel
BikeTube opens YouTube on the original Bike's tablet and draws a floating panel of cadence, power, resistance and estimated speed. Its sensor readings come directly from the tablet's V1 Android service, without a Peloton membership.
Build the Android app on a computer and sideload it over authorized ADB. The author tested an Android 11 original-Bike setup; long sessions, reboot recovery and exact speed accuracy remain unmeasured. Peloton updates can change app installation and sensor access.
- Ride with other apps on the screen
- Large YouTube search controls
- Home-screen entry and return to Peloton
