Use an app shortcut as a voice-assistant button
AssistTap turns a button that can open an app into a shortcut for the head unit's default voice assistant. It launches the assistant through Android intents and closes its own invisible activity.
It needs Android 8 or newer and a steering-wheel or button mapper that can launch an installed app. Only emulator testing is documented, and some head units block invisible apps. Accessibility adds more accurate second-press closing; root is optional.
