Your smart TV is another device where you may have less control than you think.

Tellyscope is an open-source Android app that lets you disable unwanted preinstalled apps on Android TV, Google TV and Fire TV, install APKs and block ads through Private DNS, all from your phone.

To get started, install Tellyscope from GitHub, enable Developer Options and ADB debugging on your TV, then connect both devices to the same Wi-Fi and pair them. The app guides you through the setup.
