Rooted an Echo Dot to run a fully local AI assistant

I said "Alexa" and Amazon never heard it.

This Echo Dot is rooted and it's mine now. It no longer talks to Amazon's cloud. Her brain is 100% local, running on DGX Sparks in my house. No subscription.

She opens sites on my laptop, remembers what I tell her across conversations, interacts with all my AI agents for me, and goes anywhere I go over @Tailscale installed on the Echo.
