Pixel Artist Residency

What's your background?

Hey! I'm Nzib, a pixel artist based in Indonesia. When I was a kid, I was growing up with retro games, especially java games, which have beautiful and detailed pixel art, I'd always loved to play it after school or the whole day at the weekend, so my interest in pixel art has grown since then.

And then, here I am, growing up. In real life, I'm a web developer (FE), but I couldn't avoid my love for art, especially pixel art. I started learning pixel art deeply two years ago, always improving my skills while selling my creations as NFT on Web3. And I'm so glad people love my pixel art, I want to take my journey as a pixel artist to the next level, so I'm joining VRBs as a place to express myself and advance my career.

What will you be doing?

I will create funny VRBs illustrations or memes, but with my pixel art style, and follow the trend to engage the Web3 community.

Time you can commit

I will allocate this job after my real-life job, so I will have 5 hours per day,

So it'll be 5 hours * 7 days = 35 hours/week\ \ I will work at the weekend too, but only 5 hours, need to enjoy my weekend haha..

Why you care about Vrbs?

I love the VRBs concept, where artists are the main characters, so I really want to take part in building the ecosystem.\ \ And the reason why I'm good. I think you guys saw my creations were voted and auctioned, so I feel I fit for this grant.\ \ (But actually, I'm just following my intuition *-*)
