How I envision the workload

In this role, I will enhance vrbs' online social presence by creating and implementing a Farcaster/Warpcast content strategy. This includes managing social media accounts, producing engaging content, and fostering community engagement. An additional proposal I have is to conduct Farhouse interviews with artists and community members. These interviews will feature artists discussing their work, inspirations, and connection to the vrbs community. This initiative will not only bring more awareness to VRBS but also provide valuable content for both vrbs's social media and the series, "Behind the Pixels."

Time commitment

I am able to commit 10-15 hours per week to these projects, with a breakdown as follows:

Communications Role: 7-10 hours/week

  • Planning and Content Creation: 3-4 hours/week
  • Community Engagement: 3-4 hours/week
  • Project Management: 1-2 hours/week

Farhouse Lounges (to support the Artist Series): 5 hours/week

  • Research and Interviews: 2 hours/week
  • Editing and Production: 2 hours/week
  • Distribution and Promotion: 1 hours/week

Why you care about vrbs?

I am passionate about community building and making a positive impact. vrbs' mission resonates deeply with my own values of fostering engagement, creativity, and support within local communities. As a believer in the Solarpunk ethos(I'm currently drafting a lunarpunk comic strip), I am committed to envisioning and creating a sustainable, equitable, and optimistic future. My favorite phrase "another world is possible" captures the essence of this belief, and I see vrbs as a platform that can help turn this vision into reality. My extensive experience in social media management, coupled with my dedication to storytelling and community engagement, makes me a strong fit for this/these grants. I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to vrbs' mission and help create a welcoming and inspiring environment for its community members.
